here is something to think about: Fred has been around long enough that he is becoming a legend. You may not agree with him but he does make some good points.

Hey guys there are some younger fieldtrailers that need to be noticed.Take a look at who puts on the races, and they do a good job of it.They may have their differences but all in all they are together when someone from the OUTSIDE threatens the trialers.Rob W. does a good job and runs dogs and I haven't heard anyone gripeing about his races. That family is something to watch how good they work together.when they come home from a race it is amazing how fast they get the things unloaded, dogs fed.each one has their job and it is smooth as silk.Laura Lipps is another one.She has ran dogs since she was little.Bob was very fond of trooper,he would tell me about her as a young girl.Allison Bright is another who has hung in there and does a good job.Josh kelly is another,Burchie does his part. These are the future of fieldtrials, there are a lot more I can't name them all but they need to be acknowleged as they do a good job .I will be 71 this year and just wish I could still handle dogs.I can't think of any better sight than watching your dog come treeing and running clean even if it is just practice.

Don't know if any of you remember him but back before he went to racing track greyhounds like myself he ran field trail dogs. ( know Jerry and Sue Herbig will) He took his life last week. What I posted in the gre6yhound news. "So sad and sorry to hear about Dick. I had known him for around 50 years as he used to race coondog field trials against me. He was one fine dog man back then & ran some of the top dogs in the USA. REST IN PEACE RICHARD."
