can't remember a race in the 10 years I've been back at this when the catchers stayed back so well. Must have been that camera Julie had pointed at that catchers box all day. Pretty simple solution to a big problem.

Appreciate the reslults Mr Kelly, thanks . also a big thanks from Julie and I to evryone who attended. We hope you all had a great time. Our goal was to put on a sporting event that was # one Fair and fun. Im the fair part and Julie is the fun part. Ha! This was the best turnout with well over 400 dogs, 46 heats, 22 Semis, 2 consolation finals, 1 pot race and 7 finals. Great judging from Mike Whitehead, Rob Harrison, and Earl the field Marshal. If we missed any, I appoligize, but assure you we were trying our best. Thanks to all that caught for their sportsmanship and patience. There were several heats and semis where the catchers remained in the box and allowed the dogs and judge plenty of time to get good tree jobs done, even tho they could have come out much earlier. thanks again. We had 30 six-hundred dogs entered with an extra300 going to their final, the open class had 38 with 10$ per dog going to their finals. The other classes had : 300$- 35 dogs, 150$-25 dogs, $75-49 dogs, 50/50-23 dogs, Grade AA-54 dogs, Grade A- 57 dogs, Grade B-63 dogs, Grade C - 53 dogs. No dogs in the Grade D. We had 613 claims with 524 on the $150 class. We were done by 4 on Sat and 2:30 on sun. Julie had 65 at the dinner on fri nite, She only had 35 meals , so cooked hot dogs, with fixings for the rest. no dogs hurt that I know of. Hope not anyway. The Race produced a profit of 236 dollars , including the $2,106 profit from the claims. After expenses we only lost $2,358 dollars thanks to the Budwiser Sponsorship of $1500.oo. This is only half the loss of last year and one third of the first year. Thanks again to all those who attended, hope you had as much fun racing as we had putting it together. See you at Silver doller derby. God Willing Bob and Julie

Heard through the grapevine that dogs from one circuit won 17 parts of the 32 offered. Sure would hate to have to compete in that circuit week after week Just goes to show ya that when a good, honest ,prestigest race is put on you'll have different winners than the same ole mid-west circuit race winners that can't win anywhere else.
