I know with the way it looks outside this is the last thing on everyones mind!! But thought it might bring us some warmer weather to start thinking about it and you all seem to wait till last minute to get your blades sharpened, many have asked me where I get mine done. I use a guy called Jeff Andrewes he owns northern tails sharpening. He's very good. You can go to his web site www. northerntailssharpening.com and there is all kinds of info about clippers/blades he is cheap and has a fast turn around. For those that use those big horse clippers he doesn't have much as far as info on his site but he does sharpen them just fine. you can also send your clippers in for a tune up. many of you use the wrong things on your blades to oil them. There is also a newer product out called clip-aid. www.clipp-aid.com you can have on hand for when your part way thru a dog and your blade goes dull it will get you some more life. most important tip-wash/brush dogs first!

I use the same clippers I use on my head. That way I know when the blades are dull before I nick my dogs
