Some that Tink told me :-- Bob Fisher owned the Female There was a female in the litter --Broke her leg early-- Several people were offered the pair-- Rex and his littermate No takers Too ugly! So they went where they were supose to be The Davis's . At about 9 mo old they were run with what was substancial field trial dogs of the day! Rex came with a lead and the rest were blamed for blowing the track Next time they were run Rex again came with a lead and it was realized it was no accident And game on from that time I am sure it is forgotten but Hot wheels was a damn good tree dog He was caught most times before he treed to save the next dogs! The first time I ever seen him he was locked on another dog!

I remember when he would come with a lead thru the line and stop and play peek- a- boo very few beat him and not often. One guy even half tracked his dog to beat him. But he got caught and removed from the race. What a animal he was to bad that jeaousy ended his life.
