The M.U.F.T.A rule reads "must have 35 dogs to be a (sanctioned) race". If there were not 35 dogs entered I don't think they qualify for high point. Guess you would have to ask someone with more pull than myself, but that's what the rule states.

There were only 31 dogs entered. From what I was told. So I would say it was a outlaw race.

Personally, I feel if someone drives to a scheduled race and pays an entry fee, it should be a race, final money and points should be given.

Who told you that? There is no rule stating that you have to run the final any certain way for points to count. The dispute with the Millington race is that there were not enough dogs to be a "race". Also, at Glenn the dogs were still ran in there class for the final and were not combined like Millington. I say give everyone that was at both races double points and a smiley face sticker for attendance......

HEy D.W. you were a proud member of that big circuit for years!!!! ;D I think they have had the rule there must be 35 dogs for it to be a sanctioned race for years, was when I ran there.

IF THERE WAS A ENTRY FEE AND FINAL MONEY PAID TO THE WINNERS DOTY POINTS COUNT. WAS JUST WONDERING HOW THE COMBINED FINALS POINTS WERE AWARDED FOR THE CIRCUIT. SOME OHIO AND INDIANA DOGS ARE IN THE RUNNNING FOR THE COVETED DUST COLLECTORS AND WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW MANY MORE TRIPS TO MILLINGTON IT WILL TAKE TO OWN ONE.
