I am so happy that she is a decent dog and want her to do good for Phipps.I always wanted a black dog that could run in the greens.I can watch her thru the site.she is 18 months old no she is 20 months old.Wiley and Mason have some littermates and they really tree and have some foot.

Best race of the day I was told she treed right to the tree Didn't know untill now that Fancy --Fancy that-- won Dog with the biggest lead of the Day Pocket Change! I just might go back tomorrow!

Wileys dogs did good.Country Boy is littermate to to Hot and ready,Star Dust is too.lawman is out of Ruby and Cyrus.I know a couple people were interested in their bloodlines.Cyrus id full brother to Hot and Ready and CountryBoy and Star Dust.Wiley has a couple more at home and Mason has a couple too.Ruby is out of Lonestar and Susie who is out of Lol Babe and Hornblower.There you go guys

Thanks to everyone who came to the Ohio Spring Special at Coshocton. Appreciate your support, entrys and attendance. We had great weather, which made things much more enjoyable. There was 55 heats run, with over 500 dogs. 16 semis, 2 pot chaces, 2 consolation finals, and 6 finals. We were done a little before 2pm sun afternoon.

The payout % was very close to the % entry. ie, each class of dogs got back roughly what that class contributed in entrys and claims. The largest individual class was the Grade B ( no heats won at a two day race) with 106 total entries. Grade dogs(Jrs and gr) had a total of 280 entries. This class contributed the greatest % to payout, with least return. Open class was at the other end with smallest % contributed and largest % returned. the 50/50 class with only 16 dogs, contributed 50$ by entries, but $879 in claims. The Grade C dogs, with 30 entries, ($ 12 entry) contributed only 360$ in entries. But with no heat money that all went to payout. This may be more details than some would like , but if your sponsoring a race later in year, this may be interesting, even helpful information.
Thanks again to the team that did all the work to make this race Gol Les, Julie, Marilyn, Diane, Josh, Rob, Mike, Jim, & Jeremy. I think everyone did a great job. Also I think the owners and catchers were great. Thats a lot of races and pressure to be under for everyone, you did well. Congrats to the big winners. You deserve to win and you did it. In Reviewing the tapes, Everyone in the finals who won, truely won. And that was one of our goals for this race. The Grade Line final: Perfect! Minnie Pearls front feet were across the line, 6 inches back on the ground was the 2nd dog ( with both feet Just short of line.) 3rd dog was only a foot short of line with both feet on ground. Hats off to the Porta Rican! Line was 100% all weekend. Trees not so good. I apologize for that it was my fault. Its the sponsors responsibility ( I think) to make sure the decisions are fair, clear and consistant. The tree was sometimes unclear, inconsistant,, and unfair. It was not the fault of the judges, they were bravely trying to identify the dogs that were treeing. That damned sure is not an easy job in this sport with the method I used. My Bad, forgive my poor effort. But if we have this race next year, and Im doing it. I primise you. It will be calm, consistant, fair and accurate. And only dogs treeing, barking at the tree, honoring the tree, will win trees. In heats , semis and finals. Again, My fault for allowing that to happen this year, but our tree problem is fixable, and God Willing will be next year. thanks for your patience and support at the race, you have no idea how much Julie, Les and I appreciate you all.
